I was having minor erectile dysfunction, taking Viagra and doing fine with that. But my wife heard one of their commercials, and made an appointment for me.

In previous reviews, I've seen them referred to as beling like "Used Car Salesmen," and this is the absolute truth. The doctor gave me a cursory examination; did not take my blood pressure, which I thought strange. Then he went right to the injection. I quickly got a huge erection -- so huge that it was painful (they had to give me another injection of another drug to bring it down). The doctor suggested that I take half the dosage the next time. Then I was ushered into an office, where the "closer" went to work on selling me the injectable drug. This was a couple of years ago, and I cannot remember the exact amount, but I believe it was around $300 for a month's dosage -- this in addition to the cost of the doctor's visit, which I believe was a couple hundred dollars. I asked if I could get a prescription, and buy the medication at my local pharmacy. I was told that it's unavailable at the local pharmacy (this, it turned out, was a lie).

So I went home, used it once at half-a-dose, and still got a painful erection. I asked my pharmacist about it; he said it was for severe erectile dysfunction, and suggested that I ask my doctor about other options. He also told me that the pharmacy DOES stock the medication (and for much less money).

In the end, I semi-lucked out. It turns out that the BMG physician who "treated" me had allowed his California License to lapse. I wrote a letter to BMG's corporate offices about it, and also complained about the unprofessional examination, and the lie I'd been told about the availability of their "wonder" drug. They told me to bring the unused portion back to the office, and they'd fully refund my money for the prescription (I still had to pay for the "examination.")

I went to my regular doctor a few months later, and it turns out that I have low testosterone, which happens to many men in the 40s, 50s and up. I'd bet a good percentage of BMG's customers suffer from the same problem, and could benefit from testosterone gel. You'd think that ethically, the doctors who work for BMG would be obligated to discuss other options. But these guys are more like used car salesmen.

Androgel is the testosterone gel.

It helped the ED a little but just like the Viagra it was 80 percent at best and than quit working. Everyone is different, I think the Viagra messed with my vission. I would try everything else before going to Boston Med Group. Using an injectable is my only choice but may not be yours.

This is a good product.

I went to the Atlanta clinic. The doctor gave me a test to ensure that blood flow to the *** was adequate. The also gave me a test to check if there was any issue with nerve endings.

he then gave me a test dose, and monitored how long it took for the erection to reduce to half.

Based on this he gave asked me to take a 14 microliter injection.

their special syringe also reduces any pain.

I never had any bruising. On a couple of occasions, I found that it did not work, not because the medication did not work, but I had apparently not injected properly.

The injection with 14 microliters gave me an erection of 4 hours. I called the clinic and was told to reduce to 12 microliters. This lasted about an hour and a half.

I would recommend this. I don't think this is a cure. So you won't get normal erections for the rest of your life if you take this medication for six months or twelve. It is a quality of life issue. If you want to have good and satisfying sex without worrying about premature *** or difficulty achieving an erection, it will work while you take the medication.

Medicine is medicine whether it is androgel, oral pills, or injectables, it may work but not always. Nothing in medicine is a guarantee. Injectable medicine has been used for over 20 years, but it is effective with the proper dosing. Some doctors may be better at finding this dose than others. Most urologists offer Caverject or Trimix, but it wasn't strong enough for me. I have spent years now trying all my options, but when I found Boston Medical I had a better erection on their strongest dosage. I started with Viagra about three years back but it stopped working a year later. Plus it made my face really red and I didn't like that. I am glad I went to Boston Medical. I got to see the result before I purchased. I've read some of the complaints about a used car salesman approach, but I guess it was another location, because the guys I worked with were very empathetic and did not push me into anything. They mentioned all my other options, but I had already tried those and they weren't working. I'm sure everybody's situation is different to an extent, but I am passionate about the results and the difference it has made in my life.

Rubbing gel on you is mostly psychological. It never worked for me.

Shooting Testosterone has very serious side affects. ( I tried, but it didn't fix my ED).

So Far, this is the only thing that's worked.

I don't know about you guys, but I'd pay 5 times the price to have a sex life.

My relationship with my wife of 30 + years was getting rocky. It has also improve dramtically.

I don't even need to use it as often anymore.

By the way (from my previous post) The Androgel was for low testosterone due to erectile issues.

I use androgel for low testosterone. It worked at first, but then kind of stopped working about a year later. My doctor doubled the dose, but it still hasn't helped. I've started using a product called Zenerex just to see how that goes after reading some information on the web.
